"When we went to Wigan Pier, we saw some spinning mules. We sat in a
Victorian classroom and had a short lesson and looked through a
fasinating museum. Afterwards, we traveled on a canal boat to
Trencherfield Mill and we saw how the cotton was changed from cotton
wool to tread. I thought this day out was a fascinating and interesting
experience that has realy helped with our research on the cotton
industry."
